Pistachios (In-shell, Whole Kernel & Half Kernel)

  1. Pre-Cleaning: Remove leaves, stones and broken hulls via vibrating screens.
  2. Drying: Dry in hot air (35-40℃) for 24-48hrs until moisture content ≤8%.

3.Shelling (for kernels): In-shell pistachios: Skip this step; go to sorting directly.

4.Kernels: Use adjustable shellers to crack shells (avoid kernel damage); separate shells via air separation.

  1. Sorting & Grading:

In-shell: Classify by size (e.g., 20/22 per oz) and shell opening rate.

  1. Kernels: Sort into whole/half kernels; remove discolored or damaged ones via optical sorters.

 

  1. QC Check: Test for aflatoxin (≤2ppb) and pesticide residues.

 

  1. Flavors: Natural Unsalted, Lightly Salted, Roasted Salted, Honey Glazed, Spicy (Chili/Lime), Smoked; support custom flavors.

 

  1. Packaging: Vacuum seal (kernels) or MAP packaging (in-shell) for shelf life extension.
